The back series GDP growth has been noticeably higher since 2014. It stood at 7.3 percent for 2015-18, while it was 6.7 percent for 2006-14. There is a good 0.6 percentage points difference, yet the question remains, if real GDP numbers are higher, what really happened to corporate performance?

The dip has been significant, as corporate sales grew at 4.3 percent for 2015-18, while it was 20 percent for 2006-14.
